Providence: a top hipster city?

6 Apr

This is what hipster looks like, according to Travel + Leisure.

You heard it. My dear Providence, R.I. is in the top 10, according to Travel + Leisure. The top 4 are all West Coast cities, then there’s Portland, Maine, at #5 and Providence rings in at #6. According to the magazine, being hipster apparently means having good restaurants or something. At least that’s what the article features.

All those years at PC, I was unaware. However, I still miss the Cable Car, Tea Luxe, and CafeFourTwelve. If only Storrs, Conn., could compete… then again, I’m a mere hour from Providence. Guess I should just drive there more often.
