As Meleah Cooks

26 Feb

Currently, my roommate Meleah is cooking strudel from a Slovene recipe found in our intermediate-level Slovene language textbook from last semester. I meanwhile am perched on my chair, eating a bag of freshly bought peanut M&Ms, acting like a backseat driver and instructing her to fold the strudel dough more carefully.

Hey, they only have peanut M&Ms here in Slovenia at Christmas, and the holiday bags just went on sale from a whopping 5 euros down to 2, so I’m finally getting into the spirit.

Ah, Meleah, be careful with that string!

Bah humbug.
