Two Somethings I Like, Two Somethings Which I Do Not.

8 Jan

Another entry in the “Something I Like, Something Which I Do Not” category.

Something I Like: The fact that by not using a dryer for your clothes (as many people in Slovenia–including my landlords–live without one), you save energy. Hooray!

Something I Do Not: No amount of hooray-ing can dry your clothes quickly, or shrink your jeans back to their normal size.

Something I Like: Produce! It is cheap and yummy, all year round, and generally contains less growth hormones and other icky things that will make you grow 15 extra toes or something.

Something I Do Not: Food coloring–or, at least the kind I’m used to in the U.S.–is not for sale here, since a European group deemed it may cause hyperactivity in children. Cool to protect the kids. Not cool that my red velvet cupcakes this week were not red. Grr.
