Falling asleep on a double decker bus and eating fish & chips and ice cream.

11 Jul

Lovely Saturday. A walk to Jesus Green (Jesus College is a part of Cambridge U.), for a scavenger hunt. Rode on the top of a double-decker bus. Fell asleep while doing so. Spent countless hours in the library. They have a self-check-out service here; we should get that back home! Dinner is not included in the college plan on Fridays or Saturdays; thus, my first sampling of fish & chips at a local pub. Verdict: pretty darn good. Verdict on the homemade raspberry sorbet at a little shop called  ‘Chocolat Chocolat’: even better.

Hot, sunny day. Too tired/hot to write more. Why has no one in  Europe ever heard of air conditioning?
